Dr. Kazushi Yoshikawa (Department of Operative Dentistry) with a research team of Kinki University developed an ultra thin sheet made of Hydroxyapatite. The 0.005 millimeter film can be used for the treatment of hypersensitivity and prevention of caries in children. This research was introduced in the major newspapers as well as on the evening news program.
