Application Qualifications


(General Selection)

  1. A person who has passed the National Dentist Examination before 2005 or the National Physician Examination before 2003.
  2. A person who has graduated from a university (dentistry or medicine) and completed or is expected to complete clinical practice for dental practitioners which is prescribed by the Dental Practitioners Act, or clinical practice for medical practitioners which is prescribed by the Medical Practitioners Act by March 2024.
  3. A person who has graduated, or is expected to graduate from a university (veterinary or 6 years of pharmacy) by March 2024.
  4. A person who has completed, or is expected to complete 18 years of education abroad (completing the final program in either dentistry, medicine, veterinary or pharmacy) by March 2024.
  5. A person who has been designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
  6. A person who has been recognized by our graduate school as having abilities that are at least equivalent to those who have graduated from a university of either dentistry, medicine, veterinary or 6 years of pharmacy.

(Special Selection for Working the Students)
A person who meets any of the qualifications below, and has more than 3 years (including clinical practice for medical and dental practitioners) of working experience which continues after the enrollment of our graduate school, and who are able to attend classes.

  1. A person who has passed the National Dentist Examination before 2005 or the National Physician Examination before 2003.
  2. A person who has graduated from a university (dentistry or medicine) and completed clinical practice for dental practitioners which is prescribed by the Dental Practitioners Act, or clinical practice for medical practitioners which is prescribed by the Medical Practitioners Act.
  3. A person who has graduated from a university (veterinary or 6 years of pharmacy).

Application Process

Please send the application documents below by registered express mail or deliver them directly by hand during the application period.

  1. Application form (Form specified by our university)
  2. Academic transcript
  3. Applicant's photo (attach the photo taken within three months, showing upper front body without a hat or cap (4 cm long 3 cm wide) to the application.)
  4. Certificate of (expected) graduation
  5. Certificate of completion or registration of clinical practice (for those who meet Qualification No.2 above)
  6. Ticket for the interview (Form specified by our university)
  7. 2 envelopes for sending back (stamped and addressed)
  8. 30,000 yen of examination fee (bank transfer)

Once the application documents and the exam fees are received, we will not return them to you under any circumstance.
These documents will be used for confirming applicants' qualification for application, preparation of applicants' list, and reference materials for interview examination. We do not use them for other purposes.

Overseas Students

Application Qualification

  1. An applicant must have completed or is expected to complete the 18-year course of school education in another country by March 2024, whose final course is in dentistry, medicine, veterinary medicine, or pharmaceutical sciences; OR
  2. An applicant must have completed or is expected to complete the 16-year school education in another country by March 2024 (limited to a curriculum including courses in dentistry, medicine, veterinary medicine or pharmaceutical sciences) and is recognized to have earned the number of credits designated by our university with excellent achievements

Screening of Application Qualification (only for application based on the second criteria described above in application qualification)

Please send the following documents by registered mail or bring them directly, within the period when screening documents for application qualification are accepted.
Acceptance period of documents for the screening of application qualification: Tuesday, September 19, 2023 - Friday, September 29, 2023 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays)
The review results will be notified to the applicant.
Application documents will be accepted only after an applicant passes the screening and pays the entrance examination fee within the application period.

Once submitted, application documents and examination fees shall not be returned for any reason.
