OSAKA DENTAL UNIVERSITY

Biology is the foundation of dental medicine

Biology provides core knowledge in life sciences required to become a dentist. Designed primarily for first-year students, it aligns knowledge of those who did not take biology at high school with that of those who did, so they will acquire basic knowledge to understand lectures offered at basic courses in the second year (lectures may include: Biology, Biology Experiments, and Lecture to Enhance Basic Academic Ability - Biology). Students who already took biology will learn "basic knowledge of life sciences necessary for citizens of the 21st century" beyond the perspective of healthcare professionals, in a more advanced college class (lectures may include: Biology and Molecular Biology).
