Human resources to be nurtured by the doctoral (latter) program in the Course of Oral Sciences, the Graduate School of Health Sciences

In the doctoral (latter) program in the Course of Oral Sciences, the Graduate School of Health Sciences, we aim to improve attendees’ research capabilities in the field of oral sciences closely related to dental hygienists and dental technicians, as well as to have their abilities as research supervisors. In addition, training of management capabilities in education and research institutions is also an important goal. For these capabilities, it is also essential to have a broad perspective on research and education, as well as occupational hygiene capabilities, and human resource and organizational management capabilities.
The doctoral (latter) program in the Course of Oral Sciences, the Graduate School of Health Sciences produces not only competent educators and researchers in oral sciences, namely oral health science or oral engineering, but also people with teaching skills, and personnel management and operation competencies for educational and research institutions.

Education in accordance with Article 14 of the Standards for Establishment of Graduate Schools

In order to meet reeducation needs of professionals, we provide classes and research guidance at specific times such as at night or during specific periods, based on specific measures of the educational methods set forth in Article 14 of the Standards for Establishment of Professional Graduate Schools, so we have establishes and provide an environment where students can continue their practical learning without resigning their positions.
These specific measures apply to persons who have at least two years of professional working experience as of March 31, 2020 and who continue their position after entering our school.
If you wish to apply for these specific measures, be sure to check the designated box and the term of education in the application for admission. You will not be eligible for these specific measures if you do not place a cheak mark in the box.

Article 14 of the Standards for Establishment of Graduate Schools
In a graduate school program, if necessary from an educational standpoint, graduate schools may provide education through appropriate means, which include conducting classes, research guidance etc. in the evening and other certain hours and periods.

Long-term course system

This system allows students due to certain reasons such as having an occupation, to take and complete the program in a planned manner for a certain period beyond the standard period of study (three years). If you wish to use this system, be sure to check the designated box of the application for admission. You will not be eligible for this system if you do not check it. You will not be able to choose a long-term course program after enrollment.

(1) Eligible applicants
A person with an occupation or recognized as necessary by our school
(2) Long-term course period
Three years is the maximum period of extension. This means that you will complete the course in four, five or six years.
(3) Notification of results
It will be enclosed with the notice of acceptance.
(4) Tuition
① Annual tuition fee is calculated as follows:
Amount determined by the school standard course period (three years)/permitted course period
② If the tuition is revised during the course, you will be notified again.
