Training researchers who can play a role in advancement of oral and maxillofacial surgery, maintenance and promotion of oral health
Students will be engaged in practice of oral surgery for one year after enrollment to understand the connection between clinical practice and research. They should prepare for initiating the research during this period. Research may be conducted in the Department or at another department or research institution as necessary. They conduct researches that can be applied to clinical practice with faculty members.
After completion of the graduate school, they can continue and develop the research conducted, including international study. In addition, we will continue training in oral surgery and anesthesiology at the University Hospital and affiliated hospitals, seeking qualifications for certified dentists, specialists, and supervisory dentists by the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, in order to produce leaders in clinical practice and research of oral surgery.
