Members will learn clinical medicine with a focus on pathophysiology, pharmacology, and internal medicine, considered as the basis of dental anesthesiology, which is used for acute phase general management in the dental field. They will acquire knowledge, skills, and attitude to promote researches in the fields of anesthesiology, neuroscience, and regenerative medicine.
We are dedicated to research activities by assigning a graduate school faculty member or another instructor to each research group. We conduct joint researches with the Laboratory of Neurogenesis and CNS Repair, the Institute for Advanced Medicine, Hyogo College of Medicine; Institute of Physical and Chemical Research; and Second Department of Anatomy, Nara Medical University, aiming to publish research results in internationally renowned journals.
Our members can also seek to become a specialist accredited by Japanese Dental Society of Anesthesiology as a clinician after completion of the graduate school. We support continuation of research activities as a postdoctoral fellow, as well as research activities at an overseas academic institution or a partnered research institution outside the university.
