On January 16, 2024, a signing ceremony for the Agreement of Academic Relationship with Osaka Dental University (ODU) and Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry (OHSU) was held at Temmabashi Campus. This agreement seeks to enhance education and research and to expand international cooperation through collaborative research in dentistry and exchange between students and faculty.

Dean Ronald Sakaguchi and Associate Dean Hui Wu from OHSU and Chairman and President Takayoshi Kawazoe and Vice President Akio Tanaka of ODU participated in the signing ceremony.

In the beginning, Chairman and President Kawazoe commented that “this agreement will provide precious learning opportunities for both faculty and students and help nurture global minded professionals in dental medicine.”

This was followed by the signing of the documents by both Chairman and President Kawazoe and Dean Sakaguchi and concluded with a firm handshake.

We are looking forward to this new relationship between both schools.
